5. Attendance Policies

General Attendance

The company maintains normal working hours of 8 hours excluding breaks. All employees are required to scan their face or fingure prints on biomatric devices during their arrivals and departing at announced timing or even coming/leaving early or late.

Hours may vary depending on work location and job responsibilities. Supervisors will provide employees with their work schedule. Should an employee have any questions regarding his/her work schedule, the employee should contact the supervisor.

Dubai Cosmetic Surgery does not tolerate absenteeism without excuse. Employees who will be late to or absent from work should notify HR Department in advance, or as soon as practicable in the event of an emergency. Chronic absenteeism may result in disciplinary action.

Employees who need to leave early, for illness or otherwise, should inform HR Department before departure. Unauthorized departures may result in disciplinary action.


Days and Hours of Operation


DCS's official days and times of operation are as following:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Lunch and Prayer Break


Monday to Saturday: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm (Except Friday)
Friday: 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm

Ramzan Timing


Ramzan Timings are decided before the Ramzan by DCS management and intimated to employees through email or in-house communication channel

Tardiness / Later Arrivals

Employees are expected to arrive on time and ready for work. An employee who arrives 20 minutes after their scheduled arrival time is considered tardy. The company recognizes that situations arise which hinder punctuality; regardless, excessive tardiness is prohibited, and may be subject to disciplinary action.

Later arrival are marked at 9:30 am. During a particular month the employees are allowed 4 late arrivals upto to 20 minutes and for these late arrivals no leaves or deductions are made.

Beyond 4 late arrivals as mentioned above, one leave shall be deducted for every 3 late arrivals. Such late arrivals, if less than 3 during a month shall be deducted proportionately


Strike Days, Heavy Rains or Unforeseen Circumstances

In case of strike days, heavy rains and in extra ordinary or unforeseen circumstances, incoming timings are circulated through a circular by the management if required. Management even can allow to work from home in such circumstances but formal approval is required. No employee is authorized to avail this relaxation without prior formal permission from respective supervisor and will be mark absent in other case and may lead to deductions.

In scenario when employees can join office after the announced arrival times in above mentioned circumstances, employees need to complete their daily working hours by managing the late sittings, otherwise these hours will be adjusted through short, half leaves or may lead the deductions.


Working on Holidays

To complete urgent, extraordinary or emergency tasks, the Department Head may require their team members to come for work on holiday. In such an event, the Department head formally informs the Project Manager or Higher management, preferably two days in advance, about the specific day, expected duration to stay and the reason for calling team members on a holiday. The management makes the necessary arrangements to facilitate the working in such circumstances. Company will provide the meal if the lunch or dinner timing will be during these working hours. In special cases management will pay one full day salary to respective team members as well.
